Lining Singapore’s southern coast, HarbourFront has been my go-to for scenic adventures to Sentosa, Labrador Nature Reserve, Mount Faber and the starting point for the occasional ferry trip to Batam and Bintan. It also houses VivoCity, a sprawling mall filled with plenty of good eats.
No matter whether you’re looking for a gorgeous date night spot with beautiful views of the ocean or looking for the next dining destination to celebrate a special occasion, this waterfront district has plenty to offer in terms of food and ambience.
To kickstart your mesmerising journey at HarbourFront, here are 10 idyllic dining spots that offer amazing views that are sure to impress.
1. Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro
Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro sits at the peak of Mount Faber and offers unblocked, captivating views of Singapore’s lush landscape.
Fun fact: Arbora is inspired by the Latin word ‘abor’, which refers to trees, and this is encapsulated by its garden dining experience via indoor seating, as well as its outdoor seats, which grant you views of the rainforest hillside, HarbourFront and Sentosa.
From the cable cars that travel between Faber Peak and Sentosa, to the picturesque scene of ocean and sky, this all-day casual dining restaurant has it all.
Don’t be intimidated by Abora’s stunning ambience— its food options are surprisingly versatile, ranging from western classics like Fish & Chips (S$26) to Asian-inspired creations like Half Lobster Laksa (S$22).
Be sure to try its Fishermans Stew (S$39), which in our opinion, is perfect for sharing. This sizeable dish is loaded with lobster, clams, scallops, squids, prawns, tomato lobster bisque and garlic bread.
Alternatively, go for the fan-favourite Beef Ribeye Steak (S$38), which features 240g of grain-fed Australian black angus beef and is served with your choice of 2 sides and sauce.

2. The Queen & Mangosteen
Though VivoCity has plenty of restaurants on the Sentosa boardwalk, my personal favourite is The Queen & Mangosteen.
This quintessential British gourmet pub is nestled centrally along the harbourfront, giving you panoramic waterfront views of the bay— especially if you’re seating at its alfresco area.
From The Queen’s English Breakfast (S$25), which is a hearty all-day breakfast with back bacon, pork sausage and even haggis, to Crispy Scotch Egg (S$15) and Pork Bangers and Mash (S$25), you can expect nothing but classic English food while you’re here.
You can also try its signature dishes (adorably grouped under Queen’s Signatures on the menu), like The Queen’s Famous Fisherman’s Pie (S$24), Beef & Guinness Pie (S$26) and Shepherd’s Pie (S$22).
Pair it all with its daily 1-for-1 promotion (until 7pm) on selected cocktails and wines, and draft beers at special prices like Heineken for S$7++/half pint and S$10++/pint. Other beers like Guinness, Kilkenny and Peroni will go for S$12++/pint.

3. Bayswater Kitchen
Bayswater Kitchen is a celebration of all things related to the sea— from its seafood-centric menu to the stunning waterfront view of the marina. Soak in the casual Mediterranean-inspired vibes at this scenic seafront restaurant as you cruise and dine at the heart of Marina at Keppel Bay.
Note that its alfresco area is pet-friendly as well, so feel free to bring Fido along for your meal!
The seafood truly shines here at Bayswater Kitchen, so go straight for items like the Whole Red Snapper (S$38) with fries, salad and lemon vinaigrette, Traditional Fish & Chips (S$26) with mushy peas and tartar sauce, and even the Linguine Vongole (S$25) with chilli, garlic and lemon.
Ordering to share? Get the Fisherman’s Feast (S$76), which serves 2 with a massive serving of linguine, prawn, mussel, clam, squid, assorted fish in seafood stock and tomato.
In the spirit of seasonality and freshness, Bayswater Kitchen also has satisfying meats like Australian Stockyard 150-day Grain-Fed Rib Eye (S$42) and vegetarian and vegan-friendly options like Vegetable Aglio Olio (S$24), Assorted Mushroom Risotto (S$24) and Tuscan Kale & Purple Cabbage Slaw (S$12).

4. Dusk Restaurant & Bar
100 metres above sea level, Dusk Restaurant & Bar is perched at Mount Faber Peak, alongside Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro. As such, this is the perfect vantage point for panoramic views of HarbourFront, Sentosa Island, and the lush rainforest surrounding it.
Tip: If you’re coming here for dinner, be sure to book your reservations close to sunset!
Dusk Restaurant & Bar offers European cuisine, so you can expect to find dishes like Duck Confit (S$35), Caprese Di Burrata (S$25) and French-Cut Rack of Lamb (S$88).
More importantly, go straight for the Dusk Signature Prawn Capellini (S$28), which was featured in the Michelin recipe guide! This simple yet amazing dish features tiger prawns, sauteed angel hair pasta, Japanese kombu and lobster-infused oil.
If you’re suffering a classic case of “I don’t know what to order”, try Dusk’s 3-Course Menu (S$78) or 4-Course Menu (S$88) and let the chefs settle your meal, starting with Hokkaido Scallops, Veloute, Tournedos Rossini or Maine Lobster and finally, ending off with Poached Pear.

5. Bones ‘n Barrels
Though Bones ‘n Barrels is most well known for its cheap alcohol and multiple Happy Hour deals, it lands a spot on this list thanks to its one-of-a-kind location— right in the middle of the Sentosa boardwalk! This means the only way to access this restaurant is to walk from either VivoCity, HarbourFront or Sentosa.
Bones ‘n Barrels offers 2 main cuisines, Indian and international, so you’ll definitely have something to pair with your drinks here. Try its Chicken Tikka (S$19.80), Mutton Seekh Kebab (S$23.80) and Palak Paneer (S$20.80), or go for the Margherita Pizza (S$20.80), Classic Fish ‘n Chips (S$19.80) or BnB Beef Burger (S$22.80).

Want cheaper deals and get buzzed while enjoying the sunset along the Sentosa boardwalk? Keep an eye out for its promotions, which range from Bucket of 3 House Pour Beers at a jaw-dropping S$15, or 1-for-1 Beer Pint, 1-for-1 House Pour Gin and similar others at S$15.

7. Barossa Steak & Grill
Unpretentious, laid-back and rustic— that’s the ambience that Barossa Steak & Grill aims to have. Located on VivoCity’s 1st floor, Barossa’s alfresco area is beautifully spacious and windy, and offers wide views of HarbourFront, sky and sea.
More importantly, Barossa is an Australian-inspired restaurant and bar, and serves up mouthwatering charcoal-grilled meats using carefully sourced meats from Australian farms.
At Barossa, the steaks are the real deal. Go straight for its signature Carnivore Platter (S$98), which is a sharing platter for 2-3 pax featuring roasted spatchcock, red wine beef cheek, pork & lamb sausages and smoked apple wood pork ribs.
If you’re looking for something special, head for the items cooked using its Josper Grill. This unique grill-oven hybrid allows the chefs to smoke and grill meats at the same time to create tender yet charred meats like Shio Koji Prime Rib of Pork (S$36), Lamb Saddle Chop (S$48) and Wagyu Beef Burger (S$32).
Available only on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 4pm is an exclusive Wagyu Beef Tasting Platter (S$138 for 2pax, S$248 for 4pax) which allows you to sample from exquisite cuts like Japan Kagoshima Striploin, Australian Sanchoku Coulotte and Snake River Farm Hanger Steak.

8. Cable Car Dining
Take the phrase “I’m on cloud 9” to a literal level with Cable Car Dining, as this allows you to dine in the skies!
Run by the folks at Mount Faber Leisure, Cable Car Dining is split into 3 options: Deluxe Private Dining In The Skies (S$138++ per pax), Private Dining In The Skies (S$98++ per pax) and Champagne Dining (S$268++ per cabin). Each option has its own menu and duration, with some starting off with appetisers and welcome drinks at Arbora, before the actual meal in the cable car begins.
Note that depending on the season or event, cable cars might be themed (think Pokemon-themed cable cars!) and the menus might vary, so it’s best to check out their website for the latest updates.
The Private Dining In The Skies option lasts 60 minutes, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy your main course and dessert onboard the cable car while taking in the breathtaking views of the entire Singapore skyline from the skies.
As of the time of publishing, its 2-course menu featured a main course— Beef Short Ribs or Maine Lobster— and a dessert, beet and Greek Yogurt Torte. Those opting for the deluxe experience will get to enjoy similar mains and desserts, but with the addition of Cured Fjord Trout and Curried Mussel Chowder at Arbora.
Feeling boujie or intending to celebrate something? The Champagne Dining includes Halibut Beer-Battered Fish & Chips, Fromage, Breaded Oysters, Truffle Fries, and an entire bottle of Champagne.

10. HANS IM GLUCK German Burgergrill
It doesn’t matter where you sit in HANS IM GLUCK German Burgergrill— the views are equally as stunning.
Its interior is tastefully decorated with lean tree trunks from floor to ceiling and lush indoor greenery, making it seem like you’re dining in a zen forest. If you choose to sit outside, you’ll be greeted by the expansive view of the sea and Sentosa coastline.
HANS IM GLUCK is primarily a burger joint, so don’t be shocked to see page after page of burgers on its menu.
It’s conveniently split based on patty, so whether or not you prefer juicy beef patties like the Kraftpaket (S$15.90 for burger, S$19.90 for set), vegetarian options like Abendrot (S$15.90 for burger, S$19.90 for set) which comes with an olive patty with parmesan cheese, or even vegan items like Senner (S$15.90 for burger, S$19.90 for set), a curry cauliflower patty with mushrooms & yellow curry sauce, there’s something here for everyone.
