hanabi - chicken cordon bleu

Hanabi’s Chicken Cordon Bleu consists of cheese and ham rolled within chicken meat. The surface of the chicken was nicely breaded and fried to a golden brown colour, resulting it it having a light and crispy texture. I also loved how tender and juicy the chicken meat was, while the cheese inside oozed out nicely.

The Spring Chicken was a stand-out dish, as it only cost S$13.80 for a whole chicken. The seasoning on the chicken was lovely, and I adored how tender the meat was.

hanabi - mentai dishes

Mentaiko fans can opt for Hanabi’s Mentai Chicken (S$8.50), Mentai Pork Belly (S$9.50) or Mentai Salmon (S$10.50), each of which are drizzled with mentaiko sauce and torched. If you like extra fatty pork belly, the Mentai Pork Belly is for you. Meanwhile, the Mentai Salmon was incredibly tender and fresh. Plus, all mentai and aburi dishes come with additional edamame and an onsen egg!

hanabi - chicken burger

Hanabi’s Chicken Burger (S$6.80) is yet another dish to try. Compared to other hawker burgers, this Chicken Burger is intentionally made a little sloppier, with a generous overflowing amount of coleslaw beneath a layer of cheese and spicy mayo sauce. Within are pieces of crispy fried chicken for the ultimate indulgence.

Be sure to visit Hanabi soon to enjoy their special S$9.90 Chicken Cordon Bleu while the offer is ongoing, or drop by anytime for a lovely fusion meal.
