Enjoy S$0.90 Chicken Rice From House of Chicken Rice in Tanjong Pagar During COVID-19 Crisis

During this COVID-10 pandemic, it’s important to stand united to get through this period of stress together as a nation. House of Chicken Rice at Tanjong Pagar has just announced that they’re giving back to society by offering S$0.90 packets of chicken rice and giving away free packets to those over the age of 55. 

As part of the #SGUnited movement, the eatery would like to do its part to care for fellow Singaporeans too, by lowering their prices and making it more affordable to savour a hearty meal of one of the nation’s most beloved dishes.

S$0.90 actually doesn’t even cover the cost of making the dish, so let’s make sure we appreciate and thank our friendly vendors at House of Chicken Rice for giving back to the community. 

House of Chicken Rice also mentioned a special shoutout of gratitude to their landlord, Mr Tan Hong Hiong for graciously letting them operate rent-free for two months during these hard times.

I think it’s refreshing to see fellow Singaporeans extending a helping hand towards others in times of need.
