If you are a frequent visitor of Yishun Park Hawker Centre, take note: The fusion Japanese donburi stall, KAENDON, will be closing permanently on 16 Jul 2023.
The owner of KAENDON made the announcement via the establishment’s social media, and explained that after all that has happened at the store, including a forced rebranding that they had to undergo, they decided not to renew the stall’s lease.
The owner thanked their customers for the past 3 years of support, and expressed that they hoped to one day open a store in Yishun again.

KAENDON will be running a promotion in tandem with its impending closure. From now until 16 Jul 2023, their last day of operations, customers who purchase any 2 donburi bowls will be entitled to receive free Mentaiko Fries, which originally costs S$5.50.
The stall is known for its various Japanese dons, which are topped with an assortment of proteins, a sous vide egg, edamame, corn, lettuce and seaweed.
