As a bonafide ice cream lover, I’m on cloud nine to know that KitKat Ice Cream Stick (S$3) is now available in Singapore at most Fairprice outlets! First debuted in Australia last April, I drooled over how yummy they looked and kept my fingers crossed hoping they will land at our shores soon. ‘Have a break, Have a KitKat’, needless to say, has a more pertinent meaning now as we work from home.

A chocolate wafer flavoured frozen delight, the ice-cream stick is enrobed in a milk chocolate coating with crushed pieces of classic KitKat, for an added crunch. Netizens online have shared polarising reviews, with some describing it as heavenly whilst others felt it was lacklustre—adding that the texture was too gritty and tasted much like sand.
