Korean BBQ? Heartwarming Korean Soup? Traditional Korean food? How about all three at once? That’s right, Kko Kko Na Ra and The Go Gi Jip are joining forces and relocating to 33 Tras Street in the heart of Koreatown for a never-before-seen concept.

Tthis relocation is part of a monumental 6-brand project known as Hansik Dining Collective, with 4 restaurants and 2 bars taking over a 2 story building! The first phase of the relocation will start on 13 Oct with the opening of 3 new restaurants on the first floor where you can enjoy 3 different menus in 1 dining space!

For those who don’t know, Kko Kko Na Ra is known as the pioneer of Korean Fried Chicken in Singapore, being the first establishment to debut it here in 2008. One could say they are the ones who started the Korean food revolution in Koreatown at Tanjong Pagar.

Go Gi Jip is renowned for authentic Korean BBQ, with its speciality being the Ganjang Gejang (Raw Marinated Crabs). Some would say this is the best place that does this!

With this mega alliance, we believe it could be on its way to changing the landscape at Tanjong Pagar. Starting in Nov, this new Korean dining space will be the first in Singapore to open 24 hours! For now, the operating hours are 12pm – 2am, but stay tuned on their Instagram for more updates.

The first of three restaurants in this takeover is Hayang Bulgogi, that offers a traditional Korean dining experience. Look out for the Bulgogi Jungol, a bubbling hotpot that is rich and savoury, to delight your taste buds and truly capture authentic Korean flavours.

Halmae Gukbab is the next establishment opening, offering hearty Korean soups such as Dwaeji Gukbab. This is a delicious, rich pork bone soup that’s an explosion of flavours.

Don’t miss out on the Dombe Gogi (Steamed Pork Slices) to experience a taste of Jeju’s black pork. It is the perfect combination of tenderness and savouriness.

Finally, the last out of the trio is a familiar face, The Go Gi Jip. Fret not, they will still be offering an authentic, premium Korean BBQ for those loyal fans. As mentioned, you will not want to miss out on their famous Ganjang Gejang!

Korean Fried Chicken lovers, do not panic— Kko Kko Na Ra will not be going anywhere! It will open as part of the second phase at the end of the month along with a new traditional Korean bar Chung Sa Cho Rong. Also opening then is My Patio, serving cocktails and craft beers, previously located on its own in Tanjong Pagar.
