“Kranji so ulu, what can you possibly do there?” Is what most of us would have heard (or said) at least once in our lifetime. Fret not, on the 11 and 12 March 2017, visit the D’ Kranji Countryside Farmers’ Market for a day of fun, food and nature!
Kranji Countryside Association, which is a non-profit organisation aimed at promoting agriculture and agri-tourism, will be organising a Farmers’ Market for the public to enjoy. This quarterly event will be held to support local farming and food businesses.
Since the Kranji Countryside is one of the “last remaining vestiges of farming”, the event will be held there, for visitors to have a true agricultural experience.
While at the market, look out for local produce, artisanal food and products, workshops and family activities.
With this authentic, local Farmers’ Market held specially to encourage consumers to go local, why not head down to have a look at what Singapore truly has to offer?
