The acclaimed chocolate store, Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric, has opened its first international outlet in Singapore within Louis Vuitton in Marina Bay Sands on 7 Feb 2024.

The store is helmed by award-winning Chef Pâtissier of the Cheval Blanc Paris, Maxime Frédéric, who first collaborated with Louis Vuitton in 2022 when he opened a Louis Vuitton cafe and chocolate shop, and later opened the first Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric store within a Louis Vuitton winter pop-up.

Each chocolate is made with meticulously sourced ingredients of the finest quality. Maxime Frédéric even cultivates many of the ingredients himself on his farm in Normandy, including hazelnuts and eggs.

Chocolates, on the other hand, are sourced from small-scale cocoa farmers all over the world, and production is overseen by master French chocolatier Nicolas Berger.

Each chocolate at Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric is a work of art— many of these gorgeous creations draw inspiration from Louis Vuitton’s iconic house codes.

The centrepiece creation, Vivienne on Malle, is inspired by the Vivienne music box, and is made with real intricate chocolate gear mechanisms. When the chocolate key in the side is twisted, the Vivienne actually begins to pirouette, showcasing Maxime Frédéric’s technical prowess and creativity.

Another Louis Vuitton mascot available is the Petula (pet lion), which is designed like a piñata and is filled with coated hazelnuts. The Petula‘s mane is especially exceptional, as it consists of meticulously placed individual petal designs.

Other delicious and exquisite sweet treats to savour are the Damier-shaped Chocolate Tablets, Monogram Flower, Chocolate Bar and Filled Trunk Tablets. Each of these creations take inspiration from Louis Vuitton’s signature motifs.

Finally, the Filled Heart Saint Valentine is a limited-edition Valentine’s Day special, consisting of 5 heart-shaped chocolates in the following flavours: Pistachio, Almond and Hazelnut.
