If you’re a diehard fan of sushi and sashimi, Maguro Brothers will ring a little bell. Opened by the folks behind Maguro Donya Miuramisakikou Sushi & Dining and Kuro Maguro, this new Japanese restaurant is the place to hit up for fresh cuts of sashimi, flown in directly from the Misaki Port at Kanagawa prefecture and delivered with pristine freshness through a technique called super frozen.
Diners can expect a mouthwatering plethora of tuna, salmon, oyster, minced crab, ikura, anago, and more. If you’re struggling to make a decision, opt for their Omakase 7 Cuts Sashimi (S$69++), which allows you to indulge in a variety of raw fish.
If you’re leaning towards something more substantial, Maguro Brothers also offer sushi platters perfect for sharing with a friend— the Tsubaki Sushi Set (S$37.80++), Sumire Sushi Set (S$24.80++), and Madoka Sushi Set (S$19.80++) come with different variations of salmon, white fish, akaebi sushi, and more.
For those who plan to pop by Maguro Brothers for lunch, opt for their Special Lunch Menu (S$29.80), which comes with two main dishes, rice, miso soup, and chawanmushi. Take your pick from either cooked dishes such as Maguro Ribs Saikyo Yaki, Maguro Kama Teriyaki, Grilled Unagi, Assorted Tempura and more, or sashimi. I’d definitely be down to give their Aburi Sashimi a shot, maybe even the Hon Maguro Toro or Hon Maguro Akami.
One thing’s for sure, every diner who makes a stop at Maguro Brothers is going to be spoilt for choice.
