Singapore-style mahjong is slightly different from traditional ones, possessing a total of 148 tiles that includes the 4 animals — rooster, centipede, cat, and rat. Mahjong tiles can be made using different kinds of materials like plastic, acrylic, ethically-sourced ivory, just to name a few.

They come in different sizes and designs, and for an added fee, you can even put your own spin on them.
