There are plenty of exciting wine regions in the world, and one of these is Margaret River. This quaint little town in Western Australia is famous for its award-winning wines.
Guess what — you don’t even need to travel to Margaret River to experience its stunning wines and food for yourself. Margaret River On Tour is happening right here in sunny Singapore from 17 – 23 August 2019!
This is Margaret River’s fourth year being “on tour” in Singapore. This year’s showcase has more than 30 wineries, restaurants and travel & hospitality businesses displaying the best of its products through a week-long series of activities.
The festivities include wine dinners with local restaurants, masterclasses by Margaret River winemakers, and fringe activities. Though the full list of activities isn’t available yet, you can check the event website for updates.
The week-long showcase culminates in an Evening Showcase, which is happening on 22 August 2019 from 6pm – 9.30pm at Grand Hyatt Singapore.
Tickets cost S$75 each and entitle you to a sampling of all wines and food present at the Evening Showcase. Some of the wineries present at the event include Margaret River’s oldest winery, Vasse Felix, as well as other award-winning wineries like Cape Mentelle and Xanadu. These award-winning wines and local products will be on sale at the event.
Plus, you’ll also get to experience a live cooking demonstration by Chef Evan Hayter of Arimia, who will whip up mouthwatering dishes that feature Margaret River and Arimia’s very own seasonal organic and biodynamic produce.
Trust me, if you love wine, you’re going to absolutely love what Margaret River has to offer. Think pristine clear and sweet Chardonnays, as well as rich and fruity Cabernet Sauvignons. Mmmm, pour me a glass of wine already!
