Everyone say oishii! McDonalds fans, this one’s for you. Say konnichiwa to the popular fast food chain’s Hokkaido Salmon Burger. Get ready to indulge in the ultimate cheat day, because this is one splendid burger.
Take your taste buds on a vacation to Hokkaido with the Hokkaido Salmon Burger (S$5.95), where a crispy panko-crusted patty made of Hokkaido salmon rests atop crunchy, shredded white cabbage.
It’s topped with an umami rich serving of roasted sesame mayonnaise and sandwiched between two buns topped with sesame seeds. Writing this article is making my mouth water, if I’m honest.
But hey, go double or go home, right? You can also get the Double Hokkaido Salmon Burger (S$7.95) for those days where you’re just extra ravenous. Or maybe you’re just an ardent fan of all of McDonalds’ creations, but who can blame you for that?
End your meal on a sweet note with their Hokkaido Salmon Feast (S$11.90), which is available on McDelivery. It’s got a tantalising burger, medium fries, jasmine green tea, and (my personal favourite) chocolate pie. Maybe I’ll get this for lunch tomorrow; these cravings are hitting me hard now.
