For those working in the Tanjong Pagar district, you may have spotted Menya Kokoro Ramen Izakaya which sells mazesoba (Japanese dry mixing noodles) and ramen during lunchtime at 100AM Mall.

However, the magic begins from 5pm onwards (including weekends). The 68-seater restaurant transforms into a cosy izakaya which serves mouth-watering small bites, Japanese draft beers, and even sake!

The popular Japanese quick drink culture or Choinomi (which is currently taking Japan by storm) is introduced at this exclusive branch.

After a hectic day of work, unwind with icy cold Sapporo Draft Beer (S$11) and Sobatea Highball (S$11) (made from earthy buckwheat from Hokkaido that boasts low sugar and carbs).

With a great tipple comes awesome food. To start off with something light, the Cold Tofu with Menya Kokoro’s Signature Minced Meat (S$2.90) and creamy Wasabi Potato Salad (S$3.90) make very good choices.
