Le Méridien Petaling Jaya has introduced two specially-crafted mooncake boxes that’s a treat to the eyes and taste buds. Pure Blossom (RM188) consists of four mooncakes enclosed in a white box adorned with floral motifs. In the box, you’ll find four different yummy flavours, including Mixed Nuts, White Lotus with Single Yolk, Pandan Lotus, and Longan Wolfberries.

3. Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur
This year, Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur collaborated with award-winning Malaysian fashion designer, Melinda Looi, to feature an avant-garde mooncake collection celebrating the classic heritage of Peranakan culture in Malaysia.
Comprising of a novel collection of four classic mooncakes along with numerous curated treasures of different kinds, ‘The House of Shí Wu’ (RM288) resembles an intricate wooden structure of a miniature house that moonlights as a multipurpose box, complemented by a grand and functional canvas bag. Inside include four mooncakes, premium teas, fortune cookies, candies, a GHKL x ML designer scarf, scented candle, paper lantern, colourful shuttlecock and a mini mooncake mould keychain.
The four flavours are Shanghainese Yam with Single Yolk, Pure Red Bean, Pure Pandan and White Lotus with Double Yolk.

4. Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur
For Mid-Autumn Festival 2022, Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur has unveiled its 3D LED-lit mooncake light box collection, with four exclusive designs where stunning 3D images are ‘brought to life’.
Traditional baked and snowskin mooncakes are beautifully packaged in a circular shaped mooncake box. The mooncake 3D light box is elegantly wrapped with silky satin fabric and is complemented with an elegant glossy rose gold metal frame.
There are four different sets available and each set comes with four mooncakes (RM168). Set A consists of Pure Lotus Double Yolk, White Pure Lotus Pandan Pure Lotus, Green Tea Red Bean Paste. Meanwhile Set B consists of Golden Pandan Pure Lotus Single Yolk, Japanese Red Bean, Assorted Fruit Nuts and White Pure Lotus.

10. Cat and the Fiddle
Inspired by the local scene in Singapore, Cat & the Fiddle has come up with a reinterpretation of some of your favourite local drinks as mooncakes. The mooncake box is a nostalgic take on the good old days where adults enjoy a cup of coffee at the nearby kopitiams.
