Cheesecake is inarguably one of the best desserts in the world. How can you top that?
Lo and behold, queic by Olivia, a cheesecake speciality cafe, came in clutch with their newly released Dubai chocolate cheesecake this past Easter weekend. It is exclusive to their Jewel Changi Airport outlet, which opened earlier this month.
For S$24.50, get your hands on this rich and decadent cheesecake. Although it is a little pricey, it makes for a special treat to share with your loved ones.
Cupping the whole dessert is a Cocoa almond sablé crust. The first layer that sits at the bottom is a blend of toasted Kataifi dough and their in-house pistachio paste. A thick layer of oozy, dark chocolate cheesecake cream is nestled in the middle, finished off with a layer of ground pistachio sprinkled right on top.
Queic by Olivia first sneaked their Dubai chocolate cheesecake through an Instagram post on April Fools’ Day, leading many to think that it was just another one of many marketing pranks.
Fortunately for all the Dubai chocolate fanatics out there, they confirmed it in the caption of a later post, “The others joked. We manifested. Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake — real”.
Cheesecake lovers would already know of this speciality cafe, as it is said to be one of the best in Singapore. If Dubai chocolate’s not your thing, look out for Olivia’s Signature Cheesecake (S$18) or Olivia’s Homemade Chocolate Cheesecake (S$20.50), both 4 inches across.
You can purchase the cheesecakes via their website, but the Dubai chocolate cheesecake is currently only available in-store at Jewel.
I’m not sure how long this limited edition cheesecake will be on their menu, so if you’re ever at Jewel, go try this indulgent dessert for yourself!
