I’m proud of my country. Why… you might ask. That’s because more and more renowned foreign food places are choosing to expand their businesses in Singapore. Niu Dian Beef Noodles is one of them, which will be opening their very first overseas outlet outside of Taiwan at VIIO @ Balestier on 13 Feb 2023.
Established in 2005 by Mr Lin Chun Ying, Niu Dian Beef Noodles was created with a vision to reinvent and share the beef noodles of his childhood with everyone. He managed to fine-tune the recipe by fusing hints of Western cooking methods into Chinese cuisine, thus creating the unique beef noodles.

This has earned them the Michelin Bib Gourmand award 3 years in a row. The handmade noodles are known to be chewy in texture, and the broth is consommé-like with an arduous 24 hours of brewing. The recipe involves a variety of quality beef bone parts, mirepoix and an exclusive mixture of herbs, which makes the taste simply unforgettable!

Be sure to look out for the Combination Specialty Beef Noodles 满福牛肉面. This loaded signature bowl has boneless beef rib fingers, golden coin, tripe and tendon. Patrons have a choice between the original or braised broth.
You can also try the Premium Braised Combination Beef Noodles 极品红烧满福牛肉面. This dish is served in 3 separate parts with instructions to enjoy the authentic and
premium experience of the perfectly braised beef noodles.

If you’re on team dry noodles like myself, look forward to the Spicy Pepper Combination Specialty Beef Noodles 满福椒麻拌面. The spicy sauce is made from stir-frying facing heaven pepper with beef oil for over an hour. How amazing is that?
Niu Dian Beef Noodles has also joined forces with homegrown bubble tea brand, Palace Tea. They will introduce a selection of in-house creations such as Lime & Sour Plum Green Tea with Aiyu Jelly and Lychee Mint Black Tea. Signature options such as the Milk Tea and Original Tea will also be available.

So remember to put a reminder on your calendars on 13 Feb 2023, and head down to Niu Dian Beef Noodles at Balestier to have a taste of their authentic bowls of Taiwanese Beef Noodles— I can’t wait!
