O’Brew Culture, which places an emphasis on inclusivity, has been operating on the second floor of Tampines 1 since 2020. The cafe is led by the head barista Parker Park, who attained a Certified Master Barista certification from his training in Melbourne, Australia. Though Parker is deaf, he manages to communicate with customers through written word.

O’Brew Culture’s most popular items are their Signature Dalgona Drinks, consisting of 5 flavours: Dalgona Coffee, Dalgona Matcha, Dalgona Rose Milk, Dalgona Chocolate and Dalgona Hojicha. Each hot drink costs S$5.90 while an iced drink is a little pricier at S$6.90. What’s most enticing are the pieces of crushed dalgona candy topping each drink.

Even if you dislike dalgona, there are still many other beverages to check out. Go for a classic coffee drink such as a Long Black (S$4 for hot, S$5 for iced), Macchiato (S$5 for hot, S$6 for cold) or a Latte (S$5 for hot, S$6 for cold), or opt for a more unique beverage, with options like an Iced Rose Matcha (S$7), Turmeric Latte (S$5.50 for hot, S$6.50 for cold) and Cold Brew Lemonade (S$7).

Looking to stave off those munchies? You can also enjoy delicious baked goods at O’Brew Culture. Take a final bite of their Croissant Sandwich (S$7.90), filled with either Chicken Ham or Cajun Chicken Breast, or go for a sweeter pastry like the Chocolate Danish (S$3.90).

If you love cake as much as I do, you’ll love the selection available at the cafe. How about some good ol’ Japanese Cheesecake (S$6.90), or a lovely Apple Crumble (S$6.90) to go with your coffee?

We wish the O’Brew Culture team a successful future in whatever they pursue once the cafe closes.
