If you stay in Clementi, this lovely gelato cafe is just a stone’s throw away. If you need a remedy to Singapore’s sweltering heat, then One Stone Three Birds might just be the solution to your problems.

When we visited the cafe, we were greeted by an array of gelato choices, ranging from light flavours like Fior Di Latte (Flower of Milk) to heavier flavours like Dark Chocolate Therapy. With that many flavours, we are clearly spoiled for choice.

Out of all the intricate flavours that we tasted, we settled on two, namely Kopi C Gao (S$3.80 per scoop) and Pink Panther (S$3.80 per scoop). Alongside each gelato scoop, we also indulged in their house-made waffle sticks.

One Stone Three Birds makes their waffle sticks with a light and fluffy waffle batter as an exterior layer and a fudgy brownie batter for the interior.

The waffle sticks were the perfect accompaniment for the soft and light Pink Panther gelato. Pink Panther is made with delicate rose extract and lime zest for that extra zing.

The Pink Panther was notably smooth and aromatic, and the rose extract wasn’t too overpowering on the palate. I’ve always been a fan of rose-infused desserts and this one brought me to “rose paradise”.

The Kopi C Gao was extremely decadent, as the name suggests—it was indeed very potent and gao (thick and concentrated). This flavour is notably a favourite amongst the older generation, according to the owners.

It was easy to understand why—it tasted exactly like the usual Kopi C Gao that you can get from coffeeshops!

Probably the most peculiar and local flavour of all is One Stone Three Birds‘ Yinn’s Osmanthus & Chrysanthemum.

This gelato flavour is named after one of the store’s customers, who recommended this blend to the owners.

The gelato incorporates bee pollen and a Chinese favourite; wolfberries (goji berries) that were soaked in honey. I’d say that this stood out to me as the less sweet or healthier choice but it didn’t feel like it was lacking in sweetness.

I honestly had such a tough time choosing which flavour I liked the most, because all of them had such unique tastes.

I’m sure One Stone Three Birds has something for everyone, so bring your friends and family to indulge in a sweet treat together.
