You squint your eyes, hand ready to snatch your prey trudging along the conveyor belt. But before you know it, your stack of plates get higher and higher and by the end of the meal, you’re left with an empty wallet.

Sounds familiar? Well, here’s some good news for all you sushi addicts: One Sushi, located in Northpoint City has sushi plates that go for as low as $1 or $1.50, and from now till 17 June 2018, you can get your sushi fix at just $0.88, say whaaat!

This special opening promo is valid for the yellow plates (u.p. $1.50 each) and you can choose from over 50 different types of sushi, including ones with uni! Every month, this local restaurant will also feature one special sushi in the $1 list such as the Ikura Gunkan with fresh salmon roe.

When you’re there, don’t forget to also try the a la carte menu; you can gobble up some Hamachi Kama ($13.80) which includes a slab of fatty Yellowtail fish, and the Hotate Mentai ($4.80) if you’re into blow-torched mentaiko scallops.

You’ve seen conveyor belts and sushi trains before, but One Sushi features both in a two-tiered conveyor belt; the top tier acts as a track for cars with a la carte sushi passengers, while the bottom tier is the classic conveyor belt. I know I can’t be the only one who enjoys waiting for the sushi car to zoom to my table.
