East-siders lucky lor…Nestled in the heart of Pasir Ris, Pasir Ris Mall is officially opening its doors on 22 Jul.

More excitingly, it is home to over 150 stores that range from renowned dining spots to familiar retail shops! You know the drill. For your easy reference, here are some scrumdiddlyumptious stores to look out for.

Malaysia Boleh

Sedap sial.

As seen in their vibrant 1960s-themed facade, Malaysia Boleh will transport diners to the bustling streets of Malaysia with their equally robust selection of Malaysian hawker fare.

It is also 1 of the 3 food courts that you can explore at Pasir Ris Mall. From Ipoh Signature Hainanese Chicken Rice to Penang Road’s Famous Chendol, you dunnid to take a daytrip to Johor Bahru already!

I am eyeing to try KL Da Pai Dang, which essentially condenses the best of Malaysian cuisine – think comforting Klang Bak Kut Teh, wok-kissed Penang Fried Kuay Teow and authentic Claypot Chicken Rice. Be sure to look out for familiar household stalls like Nam Kee Pau too.

Psst, they are having an outlet-exclusive Opening Promotion till 19 Jun. Enjoy 50% off a hot Ipoh White Coffee cuppa with the purchase of any main dish at Malaysia Boleh. Don’t say bojio

Butahage

Smell something?

Hailing from Obihiro, Hokkaido, Butahage specialises in mouth-watering Japanese pork donburi. Their award-winning Obihiro Meibutsu Japanese Pork Loin Don features tender pork slices amiyaki-grilled to perfection and served over a bed of fluffy rice.

This donburi is also drizzled with savoury-sweet sauce, butadon no tare, an 80-year-old secret sauce that has been passed down from generation to generation. Among their (literally) golden array of tendon, take this chance to indulge in their Singapore-exclusive Seafood Don that includes succulent seafood deep-fried to yield a crisp, but light exterior.

As they do have seasonal menus, you may also catch something new every visit. For example, the Tempura Soft Shell Crab Tendon and Soft Shell Crab Bun were only available during Butahage’s “Crab Festival”. Aw man, I sure love crabs.

Tim Hortons

This Canadian coffee chain is here to stay.

Famous for freshly brewed coffee and iconic Timbits, Tim Hortons has sugary bite-sized doughnut holes in delightful flavours like Cinnamon Sugar, Classic Glaze and Birthday Cake which are perfect for the sweet-toothed!

You may also go for their regular doughnuts with holes LOL. Want some Maple Salted Caramel or Strawberry Belgian White Chocolate Donuts? It’s a need, not a want for me. With options such as Balsamic Truffle Mushroom & Cheese, another classic item is their Sourdough Melts.

So, if you are looking for a quick breakfast grab, now you know where to go.

The Hainan Story Coffee House

Sounds familiar?

Marking its 9th outlet and 4th Coffee House concept at Pasir Ris Mall, The Hainan Story Coffee House is a homegrown brand that blends flavours from traditional Hainanese heritage with local influences.

Their Hainanese Pork Chop is a quintessential no-brainer, most known for tender meat drenched in reddish-brown gravy. Those decadent buttery Swiss Rolls are a must-try as well! Pair it with your favourite cup of kopi and you are good to go.

Fluff Stack

You can’t complete a meal without dessert.

Specialising in fluffy, airy and light soufflé pancakes, Fluff Stack provides sweet treats that are both Instagrammable and unsurprisingly delicious. Topped with fresh berries, whipped cream, maple syrup and more, they have their signature Soufflé Pancakes down to a tee.

Aside from the newly-introduced Strawberry Mochi Soufflé Pancake, their Cinnamon and Sugar Croffle is a must-try!

Conveniently located just a stone’s throw away from (you guessed it) Pasir Ris MRT, could Pasir Ris Mall be your next destination in the East?
