The unfortunate wave of F&B closures in Singapore has claimed yet another victim. Pretzel Planet has closed its doors after only 3 months of operations.

The pretzel specialty store had just opened in the new Sengkang Grand Mall on 18 Mar 2023, selling an assortment of vibrant pretzels and slushies.

Pretzel Planet announced its closure via an Instagram post on 28 Jun 2023. Though the company did not cite the reason for the store’s sudden closure, they thanked their customers for their support, and added that they would return in the future.

The sudden closure came as a shock to many of Pretzel Planet’s supporters, with netizens leaving comments on the post expressing their sadness and surprise.

We are saddened by the quick closure of Pretzel Planet and would like to wish the owners and staff all the best in their future endeavours. Hopefully, this little pretzel joint will make a swift return to the local pretzel scene very soon.
