Break out the bagpipes, some of Scotland’s finest produce has landed at the Scottish Store on RedMart. Why we didn’t have this before is a mystery greater than Nessie. Singapore is already Scotland’s 11th largest export market and the leading one in Asia, worth over £730 million (S$1.2 billion) annually.

The Scottish Store on RedMart brings over 400 authentic Scottish products from about 130 Scottish brands directly to Singaporean shoppers. Another 14 companies launched their own forays through the Scottish Store at the Scotland Food & Drink Festival.
They are encouraged by the positive response from the local market. Since the store opened in November 2022, the sales figures for Scottish products have doubled. That’s not unexpected— Singapore accounted for 2.1% of Scotland’s international exports in 2019.
No surprise that Scotch Whisky, smoked salmon and shortbread head that list.

It’s hard to think of Scotland without also thinking of whisky. With a line-up of some of the world’s most prestigious Scottish whisky brands, including Glenmorangie, Johnnie Walker, Chivas and Macallan, the Scottish Store on RedMart is your go-to digital bottle shop.
Scottish Shortbread & Snacks are perpetually popular, too. Elevate tea time with Walkers Carton 9 Luxury Miniature Mincemeat Tarts, 225g (S$17.32). Another good choice is LazyDay Orange Tiffin 5 Slices, 150g (S$11.61), also available in Chocolate and Rocky Road flavours.

With its unique weather, rich soil and bountiful seas, Scotland produces some of the best Dairy & Seafood.
The cream of the crop here is President White Cheddar Mild Cheddar Cheese, 200g (S$10.25), Pride of Scotland Smoked Salmon Presliced, Frozen, 100g (S$14.95) and Orkney Coloured Medium Scottish Island Cheddar, 200g (S$9.90).
Snack responsibly with the Nudie Cauliflower Crisps Katsu Curry, 80g (S$5.96) and Nudie Cauliflower Crisps Cheese And Caramelised Onion, 80g (S$5.96).

The launch of the Scottish Store on RedMart coincided with the start of the Scotland Food & Drink Festival. It was attended by Scottish Government Trade Minister Ivan McKee. McKee is in South-East Asia on a week-long visit to enhance trade and investment links.
