Do you know the Sidemen? If you’re not on that side of YouTube, the Sidemen are a group of 7 large YouTubers consisting of KSI, Miniminter, Zerkaa, TBJZL, Behzinga, Vikkstar123, and W2S.
Their channel has over 20 million followers, and their content spans various challenges and extreme “hide and seek” games. They also have several businesses under their belt, including clothing, a subscription service, and a vodka line. Now, they’re planning to bring their fried chicken chain, Sides, to Singapore.
Sides originally started as a delivery-only food business when the Sidemen partnered with cloud kitchen operator, Reef. The first physical location was in Boxpark Wembley in 2022.

In a video posted on the newly created eatsides.sg Instagram account, KSI posted a video announcing the brand was opening its first international outlet at Bugis+. At the moment, Sides only has physical outlets in Manchester, Essex and Kent within the UK.
This isn’t KSI’s first foray into food – in 2024, he co-founded Lunchly with YouTubers Mr Beast and Logan Paul.

Sides specialises in Nashville-style fried chicken, which is a method of frying chicken that originated from Nashville, Tennessee. The chicken parts are typically marinated in a water-based seasoning, floured, deep-fried and finally covered in a sauce base spiced with cayenne pepper.

There has been no further news from Sides about the Singapore branch, and what will be on the menu is also currently unknown. Based on the current menu for the UK, we can look forward to burgers, tenders and wraps with different spice levels, as well as a large selection of sauces. There are also sides like corn ribs, waffle fries, mac and cheese and sweet treats like milkshakes and ice cream.
Maybe we’ll see unique creations for the Singaporean outlet. (Chilli crab dipping sauce, anyone?)
