Nasi campur is a popular dish in Puchong, attracting both youth and families to the local mamak restaurant to enjoy this delicious meal. However, it is a pleasant surprise to see Sirap Selasih bring the familiar taste of mouth-watering nasi campur and the taste of Kedah to the citizens of Johor Bahru.

The restaurant opens at 7am every day but they have allotted time slots for what is served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Hence, there is a possibility that what they offer may differ from the earlier mealtime.

The eatery serves Nasi Campur (mixed rice). The prices vary, depending on how much you put on your plate. The cheapest meal you can get will cost RM5, and the most expensive option will set you back approximately RM20. Not only that, they also have a daily special menu which offers patrons more variety.

If you’re seeking more than just nasi campur, there’s also the option to pick out dishes like Laksa Penang (RM7) and Roti Canai (RM1).

Even though the eatery is located in Johor Bahru, most if not all dishes served there are based on dishes from Kedah. You’ll find the signature Kedah-style Curry, Black Pepper Beef and Gulai Daging. All these dishes are based on the cooking style from Kedah.

Sirap Selasih has been around since 2018, consistently serving happy customers. With their rising popularity, they recently added nasi kandar to their menu, alongside their usual offerings of nasi campur.

I hope this restaurant will spread the word on how delicious nasi campur is and the experience of the cooking style of Kedah, even to those who already know and love it.
