A new cafe has sprouted up in the CBD area! Snap Cafe is a small space serving sourdough toasts and an extensive range of beverages in Telok Ayer. The cafe decor takes on minimalist vibes with clear glass windows inviting passers-by to peek into their space from outside.

Snap Cafe joins a very saturated cafe community in Telok Ayer. It’s only natural that their menu offerings should stand out for cafe goers to take any interest in patronising them. The cafe’s food menu seems to take inspiration from Korean flavours

From the online menu shared on their IG page, the team has focused on sourdough toasts in 4 different flavours. Both Korean-inspired flavours are spicy. The Gochujang Prawn (S$12 for a full portion) seems to be the most popular option selected by online foodies. Another Korean-inspired flavour is the Korean Spicy Chix & Egg (S$12 for a full portion)

The white sourdough slices resemble the usual thin sandwich bread slices.  But if you’re not hungry enough for a full toast, half portions are available too. For non-spice lovers, the Honey Baked Chicken Ham & Cheese (S$5 for half portion) and Triple Cheese (S$5 for half portion) are simple brunch classics that will not disappoint.

Besides the usual espresso-based drinks sold in cafes, there are some very unique creations too. Made with 100% pistachio nuts, I reckon the Pistachio Espresso Latte (S$8) will be a hit among locals.

Non-coffee drinkers will be pleased to know that Matcha Latte (S$6.50) and 50% Cocoa Chocolate (S$5.50) are up for grabs, too. Otherwise, some coolers to beat the heat include the Honey Yuzu (S$6), Strawberry Lemonade (S$6) and Lychee Delight (S$6)

If you are looking for a quick respite from Singapore’s heat and bustling office environments, head down to Snap Cafe for a chill coffee break!
