This offbeat and sophisticated comedy series is one of my favourite television entertainment as a child. Tell me one reason why you don’t love SpongeBob—I’ll wait. At its core, this zippy and kid-friendly series is about the friendship of an epic duo.

To me, SpongeBob represents the simplicity of early childhood; his quirkiness and optimism even to the most mundane parts of everyday life have brought so much joy to many of us.

Plankton may have had a tough time getting his hands on the Krabby Patty secret formula on SpongeBob Squarepants but we are here to give it a shot! Take a visit to the Krusty Krab with this SpongeBob-inspired Krabby Patties recipe. I know many versions out there call for beef patties, but I decided to take its name literally and try my hand at making this rendition with crab meat.

With a touch of whimsy and a dose of luck, let’s start cooking!

Honestly, this came out even better than I expected. This burger is a great alternative to your usual burger cookout, boasting relatively light and clean flavours. The breadcrumbs aided in binding the patties together while providing a crispy crust.

The thyme added earthy undertones to the overall flavour profile of the dish, melding perfectly with the soft and moist patty. Effortless to make and an easy and healthier burger alternative, try them for yourself and let us know how it turned out for you. One thing’s for sure—SpongeBob would be pleased!
