Happy new year from the folks at SETHLUI.com! Some of us are still full from seconds at Christmas dinner, but I know plans to celebrate the Lunar New Year are underway for others. Make CNY 2022 one to remember forever by celebrating with Swissôtel Merchant Court’s Prosperity Takeaways in the comfort of your own home, surrounded by your family.

Tradition is a must-have for our grandmothers, so why not start off with the most perennial Chinese New Year dish of them all? The Prosperity Yu Sheng  (S$78) is topped with smoked salmon, yuzu chia seeds, and doused with a special dressing. It’ll feed up to 10 pax, making sure there’s plenty to go around, even for bigger families. Opt for the Fortune Yu Sheng (S$188) for an extra huat new year, which comes with rock lobster—perfect for seafood lovers.

Speaking of tradition, having a Poon Choy (S$338), or pen cai in Chinese, during reunion dinner is a given. This dish is served in a pot that’s brimming with premium ingredients—think abalone, sea cucumber, dried oyster, dried scallop, pork belly, tiger prawns, and other ingredients. It signifies a year full of wealth and abundance, and this 10 pax serving will make sure you leave CNY dinner feeling like a million bucks.

They are also offering Prosperity Bundles, where you can get an all-encompassing festive feast with a formidable variety. The Treasure (S$488) bundle will be perfect for families of six to eight and comes with yu sheng, chicken soup, red grouper, tiger prawns, pork knuckle, and more.

Alternatively, the Abundance (S$688) bundle might be better for bigger families of up to 10 pax—feast on yu sheng, poon choy, red grouper, tiger prawns, pork knuckle, claypot rice, and end off your celebration with a delectable dessert of nian gao and snow fungus.

Orders for Swissôtel Merchant Court’s Prosperity Takeaways are available from 3 January 2022 to 10 February 2022. Collection can be done from 17 January to 15 February 2022.
