In the past, Jurong residents had to make the arduous journey to Chinatown or Tampines just to get their hands on the crispy and flaky curry puffs from Tanglin Crispy Curry Puff. Well, they no longer have to with the opening of their third outlet at 132 Jurong Gateway Road on 1 May 2023.

It looks like things are looking on the bright side for the company as they recently also opened their 2nd outlet at Tampines on 28 Feb 2022. Similar to the previous branch, this latest stall located at 咖啡仔来了 coffeeshop also collaborates with Buey Tahan See-Food and co-shares the space.

Every individual curry puff is freshly made at the stall daily and is stuffed with a variety of their signature filling before being deep-fried in hot oil. The result? Fresh and flaky curry puffs that are extremely delicious and addictive!

Trust me, they’re still deeply etched in my mind even though I’ve only had them once in my life.

If you’ve not tried their curry puffs, they have 3 different fillings all priced at S$2 each: Chicken Potato with Egg, Sardine Potato with Egg and Fish Otah.

While getting your curry puffs, you can also check out the various zi char and seafood dishes from their partner (next-door neighbour), Buey Tahan See-Food.

Fill your tummies with the Beef Dried Hor Fun (S$6.50/S$11/S$13), Tomyum Fried Rice (S$6/S$11/S$13), Salted Egg Prawns (S$18/S$24/S$32) or Black Pepper Crab (S$35)— sounds so mouth-watering already!

Now, Tanglin Crispy Curry Puff, when are you opening an outlet in Ang Mo Kio? I’ll be waiting patiently.
