If you feel that cooking showcases are for professional chefs or those with restaurant-standard skills, think again. The Thermomix TasteMaster Cook-Off 2026 is designed for you, the everyday home cook. They aren’t looking for elaborate techniques, fancy ingredients or complex plating; they want to celebrate the heart, soul and heritage of the regular Singaporean kitchen.
It’s a culinary experience centred entirely on stories, memories and the joy of shared home meals.
Participating is simple. You do not need professional training, just a dish you love to make. Here is how you can join the journey in 4 easy steps:
- Prepare: Cook a dish that holds a special place in your heart
- Snap: Capture a quick photo or record a short video of your finished creation
- Share: Tell us the unique story, memory or tradition behind your dish
- Submit: Submit your entry through Instagram before 26 Jul 2026
By sharing your culinary story, you are taking the first step on an incredibly exciting path. The first 100 eligible submissions will receive a beautiful tote bag, while up to 10 shortlisted participants will have the opportunity to progress to the next stage of the TasteMaster experience.
The Grand Finale will be held at PLQ on 15 Aug 2026, and finalists can even team up with an advisor if they don’t want to participate alone. The grand prize is a Thermomix TM7 (worth S$2,980) and S$2,000 in cash. Each participant will receive S$500 for being a part of the experience.
Whether it is a secret family recipe passed down through generations, a recipe that brings back fond travel memories, or a simple, comforting meal that gets you through a busy week, your dish has a story that deserves to be told.
