Hello, my fellow foodie readers. If you need help looking for a new dining destination for a satisfying meal, I’ve got just the place for you!

For fusion food lovers like me, you’ve got to check out ThirtyAte, a new establishment located in the Kampong Glam district, which started operations on 27 August 2022.

The person helming the kitchen of ThirtyAte is Head Chef Alan Koh, who has raked up 22 years of culinary expertise under his belt. Inspired by his mentor, he decided to serve traditional French cuisine with an Asian twist in an unorthodox way.

Some of the signature dishes to look out for in the menu include Baked Seafood Onigiri (S$22), Chared Miso COD (S$38) (miso-based codfish with scallop), Angus Ribeye, Miso Red Wine Sauces (S$38) (a 260g piece of Angus ribeye with miso-infused red wine sauce) and Lamb Rack, Capsicum Coulis, Pesto (S$38).

If you adore pasta, their dishes like Spicy Gamberi (S$18) (which is a dish of Japanese-influenced angel hair pasta with kombu base, served with prawns) and Dry Prawn Laksa Spaghetti (S$18) will definitely put a smile on your face!

If you still have space for dessert (I ALWAYS have room for sweet treats), they have Creme Brulee (S$10), Tiramisu (S$12) and Chocolate Torino (S$10) (which is Chef Alan’s specialty double chocolate dessert).

Need a drink after all that food? You’ve got to try the Gula Melaka Latte (S$7 for hot, S$8 for cold), The Garden (S$8.50) (a combination of lychee, lavender, elderflower and soda), Yuzu Mint (S$8.50) and Gula Melaka Doppio (S$6) (a cold-shaken concoction of espresso and gula melaka)— sounds like something I’d definitely order!
