Love yourself some plates of delectable and succulent roasted pork from your nearby hawker centre? Like me, if you are a carnivore at heart, Tun Xiang might be the latest chain restaurant in town that will tickle your fancy.

Making its first appearance at Bedok Mall in November last year, Tun Xiang has been actively increasing their presence around the island and now has two more outlets located at Tampines and Hougang respectively.

With the concept of ‘everyone can afford to taste the Iberico pork’ at heart, the chain offers an array of roasted pork delights as toppings on bowls of rice and noodles.

Fans of sio bak (roast pork belly) can opt for Tun Xiang’s Roast Chestnut Pork (Medium: S$8.90, Large: S$11.90), a bowl crowned with succulent cubes of pork belly and an onsen egg for added richness and umami

If you prefer a sweet finish to your slices of porky goodness, choose between Tun Xiang’s Signature Iberico Pork Belly Char Siew (Medium: S$8.90, Large: S$11.90) or Iberico Pork Collar Char Siew (Medium: S$9.90, Large: S$12.90)

Whilst the Signature Iberico Pork Belly Char Siew features slices of tender Iberico pork with a near to perfect fat to meat ratio that simply melts in your mouth, the Iberico Pork Collar Char Siew is a “healthier” option for those looking to indulge yet not feel as much guilt during your meal.

Coated with Tun Xiang’s special sauce, the Iberico Pork Collar Char Siew is bound to win the hearts of both the young and old with its sweet-savoury flavour combination and a touch of smokiness that enhances the beauty of the entire dish.

Mains aside, Tun Xiang also offers a variety of Iberico pork-based side dishes. Complement your meal with the Steamed Iberico Pork With Yellowtail Fishcake (S$5.80) or get their Iberico Pork Glutinous Rice (S$4.80) as a snack if you are not feeling all that hungry.

Staying in the northern side of Singapore? Then you are in luck as Tun Xiang’s fourth outlet is slated to open at Northpoint City in April. So, do keep a lookout for the new outlet in your neighbourhood!
