Over the past 17 years, Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine has expanded to 22 outlets across Singapore, earning a loyal customer base of Singaporeans and Chinese expatriates alike. From Jul 2026, the restaurant has introduced more than 10 new dishes, offering diners a wider variety to explore.

These new additions range from comforting home-style classics to wok-fried favourites. There are even lighter and less-spicy options — you can finally bring your friends who have a low spice tolerance to dine here. Let me give you a little preview of what you can expect here. However, do note that the availability of these new dishes varies by outlet.

A popular side dish among Native Chinese is the Tomato & Egg Stir-Fry featuring creamy scrambled eggs sauteed with refreshing, slightly tart tomatoes. You can also savour the light and savoury Stir-Fried Shredded Chicken with Bamboo Shoots. Both these dishes go well with steamed rice.

If you want to load up on some protein, look out for the simple but divine Spring Onion Kampong Chicken. Those who tackle spice like a pro can order the fiery and aromatic Charred Chilli Chicken with Scallion Oil.

Your little ones will love the Honey-Glazed Crispy Prawns and Sweet and Sour Pork with Pineapple. Sweet, comforting and addictive, these two dishes are likely to be popular with even the fussiest diners.
