Wallet-friendly meals are a challenge to find, especially with costs increasing yearly. But sometimes, we get thrown a bone during the holiday season. That’s the case at 123 ZO The Viet Kitchen @ Lau Pa Sat Stall 48, which is giving us a limited-time promotion from 28 Nov to 12 Dec.

If you’re unfamiliar with 123 ZO, they’re a branch of 123 ZO Am Thuc Viet. It’s a restaurant in Icon Village, sitting comfortably with a 4.4 rating on Google with over 200 customer reviews.

Their limited promo is available from Monday to Friday, from 10am – 2pm. Customers can grab a bowl of their Beef Pho for just S$3.90.

It’s usually priced at S$7.90 so the discount is quite a steal. Customers consider their soup to be on the sweeter side, with simple but authentic noodles.

The owner is from Da Nang in Vietnam, which has a spice- and herb-heavy palette. It seems the strong flavours have managed to garner 123 ZO quite a fanbase. There has been enough interest that the brand expanded just this 4 Aug to this hawker outlet.

Prices from their flagship have also been adjusted accordingly. Even without the special promotion, their prices won’t break the bank. Aside from the pho, 123 ZO plates up dishes like Spicy Beef Noodle (S$7.90) and Banh Mi (S$5.90) which is available in pork, beef or chicken.

Another popular item from the 123 ZO brand is the Summer (S$4.90 for 2 pieces) and Spring Rolls (S$4.90 for 2 pieces). They’re handmade daily, so they’re sure to be fresh when served.

If Vietnamese BBQ and skewers are more your thing, their restaurant is always there for you. But for a more wallet-friendly affair, try their Lau Pa Sat outlet, especially during this upcoming promotion.
