The drinks are back! In my midst in searching for a silver lining during this Phase 2 (Heightened Measures), it will have to be the resurgence of the home bar experience. While I wait anxiously for 13 June 2021 to arrive, we have 28 HongKong Street’s beloved virtual cocktail experience ‘House Party‘.

If you remember this from the last ‘Circuit Breaker’, ‘House Party’ was insanely popular and now the good folk of 28 Hong Kong Street have brought it as ‘House Party 2’ back along with new food and drinks for takeaway and delivery.

Available for groups of six to 16, House Party 2 (from S$110) curates the perfect night out. It’s not just your favourite cocktails from 28 HongKong Street but the entire experience from the nibbles to the music, hosts and bartenders. If there was ever a time to bond while socially distanced, it is now.

So, here is what you can expect in your House Party 2 kit. Each participant will receive two cocktails (250ml) served with large-format ice, a bottle of 28 Pilsner, a bottle of Perrier to hydrate, a jar of 28’s fancy nuts and garden chips. As the cherry on top, 28’s bar family will serve as your hosts with some sweet 28HKS swag thrown in. Be prepared for some rollicking good fun as you jive to a curated 28 Spotify playlist.

Otherwise, you can just order your favourite drinks and bar bites from 28 Hong Kong Street that are available for takeaway or delivery through their website. Try new concoctions such as the Coppertone No. 2 (S$45), which is a Pina Colada inspired Old Fashioned with Plantation Pineapple & XO Rums, coconut and baking spice.
