At Le Shiner レ.インボーフード Cafe, your inner unicorn fantasies can finally be set free. Le Shiner was originally from Korea but is now situated in Harajuku, Tokyo. The cafe’s rainbow food trend really started blowing up online in 2018 with their Instagram-worthy snacks.
The Rainbow Grilled Cheese Sandwich (1080 yen) is what’s really going around social media with vibrant, stringy cheese when you pull it apart. Taste the rainbow!

Fancy a multi-layered rainbow softserve ice cream? Here you go. Well, there are five colours so it’s not exactly a rainbow, but you get the picture.
Not a fan of sweets you say? Have a rainbow-filled Cheese Dog in all its glowiness.
How about this new Unicorn Gelato from Le Shiner’s new menu. I’m on the fence for this new creation; it looks one step away from the stuff of nightmares.

Just three minutes walk from Harajuku station, the cafe does get pretty crowded and you’ll get a queue number upon order. Queue time is around 15 minutes but I’m sure it’s worth it for that Instagram shot.
