Do you often find yourself making your way down to IKEA just to have a quick grub or two? I mean, who goes there to furniture shop anymore, right? Well, we got your back! IKEA Singapore has opened its new Swedish Bistro at its Tampines outlet on Thursday, 9 September 2021 and it is located between the front-facing entrance and exit located on the first floor.

The new bistro will allow shoppers to take away both new food items and IKEA favourites some of us can’t live without. New items that can be found on the menu are the classic Swedish Meatballs in a Cup (S$5 for six pieces), Chicken Skewers (S$3.50for two pieces, S$7 for four pieces), Curly Fries with Nacho Cheese (S$3.50) and Gourmet Hotdog with Nacho Cheese (S$3).

What’s even exciting is that they also have a plant-based version of their classics for our fellow non-meat lovers; Veggie Hotdog with Nacho Cheese (S$1.50) and Plant Balls (S$5). Good job on being inclusive, IKEA.

For those of you who enjoy IKEA’s ice cream, you’d be thrilled to know that they have three additional flavours for you to choose from (from left: blueberry & banana, blueberry and banana) at S$2 per cone. IKEA has truly outdone itself this time. We obviously can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us.
