예약 YeYak Korean Restaurant planted its roots at Tanjong Pagar Complex on 1 August 2022. The owner, YJ Kim, is a native Korean foodie from Seoul. She’s been living in Singapore for the past decade and decided to start a Korean restaurant to put a modern twist on traditional Korean dishes with the right ambiance.

Miss Kim’s establishment is a casual restaurant and bar with traditional wooden booths furnished with low tables and floor cushions— you’ll get the feeling you’ve been transported to Korea.

The signature dishes over here are Old Style Fried Chicken (S$28), Spicy Chicken Stew (S$38) and Deep Fried Iberico Pork Belly with Garlic (S$28).

If you’re looking for small bites, the Fried Chicken Gizzard (S$15) and Fried King Oyster Mushroom (S$12) (which comes with spicy or garlic soy sauce) will definitely hit the spot.

A dish that looks the most enticing to me would be the Bacon Corn Cheese (S$25) (because its bacon!). It’s basically bacon and sweet corn drenched in a sinful-looking cream sauce topped with mozzarella cheese— I’m definitely ordering this on my visit!

Besides the usual suspects like Seafood Pancake (S$30), you’ll also find comfort foods like Original Spicy Stir-fried Chicken (S$32) and Fish Cake Soup with Mussels (S$38), both of which gives you the option of topping up with your favourite accompaniments like Rice Cake (+S$3), Chewy Noodles (+S$5) or Ramyeon Noodles (+S$3).
