Hang on to your cosplay hats, anime fans, Anime Festival Asia 2023 is here! AFA is bringing its wildly popular Creators Super Fest (CSF) to Singapore for the first time this year. AFA CSF Singapore 2023 will be held at Singapore Expo Hall 5 on the weekend of 22 & 23 July 2023.

This event brings together some of the most well-known anime creators and other industry figures from Asia and around the world. 13 different countries are represented at the festival.

Sure to be the centre of attraction is the Cosplay Hub. Fans will get to meet KNITE from Australia, Miho from the Philippines, YingTze & Prestonles from across the Causeway, and our very own adorable sensation XiaoYukiko.

Tickets to Anime Festival Asia 2023 go on sale today, 20 Apr 2023. Standard tickets cost S$19. They give you full-day entry with no restrictions on leaving the venue and re-entering later. Have some budding anime fans in the home? Kids under the age of 12 and below 90 cm in height get to enter for free for an exciting introduction to the exciting world of anime.

Singapore’s AFA CSF 2023 follows the same format as the immensely popular Creators Hub segment from other Anime Festival Asia editions. Apart from meeting cosplayers, visitors will get to face time with local and regional anime creators.

There will be a host of artwork and other related independently-produced merchandise for sale in the exhibition area. Also booked for the event are booths showcasing digital art equipment, collectible card games and viral products from Japan. You can even commission your own personalised artwork from your favourite artist.

Don’t forget the music— the ever-popular Super Akiba Stage will host performances by vocalists, dance groups and DJs. With the best in the Singapore music industry represented, it is the perfect place for aspiring music creators to get a foot in the door.

The happiness of immersing yourself in the huge anime universe alongside some of the most committed superfans from Singapore and around the world is just a bonus.
