Located at Mont Kiara, Osteria Emilia is Kuala Lumpur’s latest casual Italian restaurant. The eatery serves all the Italian staples like pizza, pasta, bruschetta, and risotto. You name it, they’ve got it.

The pizzas are made by none other than Proof Pizza who are seasoned players in the game. They’re known for their non-halal wood-fired sourdough pizzas that’ll also be served at Osteria Emilia. While their outlet in APW Bangsar is still up and running, they recently ceased operations at Arcoris Mont Kiara on 6 Mar 2023 to relocate to this new location.

At Osteria Emilia, customers will get the opportunity to try their award-winning classic and gourmet pizzas. They have all time favourites like Pizza Margherita (RM30) and Pizza Pesto Genovese con Verdura (RM37) made with marinated artichokes, capers, and basil pesto. In addition to that, they also serve premium flavours like Pizza Pancetta, Gorgonzola e Figs (RM42) that uses blue cheese and figs, as well as Pizza Umbrian Black Truffle (RM44), a pizza with mushrooms and black truffle paste.

Italian cuisine lovers might have a tough time choosing what to eat given all the options the restaurant has to offer. They have Spaghetti Gamberi al Nero (RM34), a home-made squid ink pasta with prawn bisque, and Risotto allo Zafferano con Guanciale Brasato (RM48), a saffron risotto with braised beef cheeks braised in wine for 24 hours.

The eatery is great for family gatherings, as they even have a children’s menu. Even the fussiest of eaters are bound to enjoy Kal’s Cheesy Pasta (RM25) and Jen’s Pizza (RM27), which is a simple mozzarella pizza.

Their drinks menu doesn’t just stop at canned colas. How many Italian restaurants have you been to that serve kombucha? Apart from their variety of fermented teas, they also have bottled beer, cold pressed juices, and coffee.

Give Osteria Emilia a try the next time you’re in the mood for Italian food, and bring your loved ones with you!
