With many fresh openings happening in the East like Happy Wok and Two Men Bagel House, Easties are truly spoiled for choice. Now, they continue winning in the F&B department, with Heng En Noodle House opening in Bedok on 9 Jun 2023.

By the same wife-husband duo behind the famed No. 25 Minced Meat Noodle in Bukit Merah, this stall will feature their hot favourites as well as new creations. There is great anticipation due to the high acclaim their Bukit Merah stall has received.

In this Facebook post, co-owner Chelsea mentions how this concept will be a unity of everything the duo has learnt while operating No. 25 Minced Meat Noodle. However, she emphasises how both stalls’ tastes will not be the same, as both are of different concepts.

There’s no need to fret, as base ingredients (like the noodles) are still kept the same. It will be very exciting to see what surprising dishes Heng En Noodle House plans to dish out!

One of the new additions is the handmade fishcake selection containing items like Fishcake You Tiao (S$5.30 for 2) and Fishcake Tau Kwa (S$4.30 for 2). Sourced from a reputable second generation supplier, the fishcake goodies at Heng En Noodle House are sure to be fresher than ever.

An intriguing new special has to be the Japanese-style Mazesoba (S$6.80), which is their own take on Japanese bak chor mee. With Japanese ingredients like the classic onsen egg and minced meat seasoned with Japanese chilli oil, this dish will deliver as a rather interesting fusion dish.

It looks like Bedok will be a stop most folks will make very soon, starting 9 Jun 2023. With handmade and honest food items, what is there not to love? Easties, stay winning.
