Looking for more food in Ang Mo Kio? Look no further, for Hawkerman Street Kitchen has just opened their new stall at Kedai Kopi AMK.

The long and short of it is that Hawkerman is a food heaven.

This outlet is the brand’s third, and features a brand-new menu in addition to its signature dishes.

From everyone’s favourite hokkien mee to carrot cake with amazing wok hei, and even different types of nasi lemak, Hawkerman has it all. What’s more, they have many creative food items in their pocket, too.

Enjoy their classics like the Seafood Hokkien Mee (S$5 for regular and S$7.50 for large). If you like nasi lemak, the stall also has over 5 different nasi lemak set meals.

I know I’d be reaching for their XXL Chicken Leg Nasi Lemak (S$7) which features a huge chicken thigh, a fried egg and plenty of sambal. For a more economical option, the Crispy Chicken Wing Set (S$3.90) is perfect.

You have probably heard of the 5Cs: cash, condo, credit card, car and country club membership. What about the 3Cs? Hawkerman has come up with their own take on the popular saying: CCC or Coin Carrot Cake (S6.90).

I cannot help but be intrigued by the concept despite its steeper price.

Offered exclusively at Hawkerman Street Kitchen’s AMK outlet, the CCC features two sauces. One of the carrot cake ‘coins’ is topped with sliced cheese, turkey bacon and an indulgent carbonara sauce. The other carrot cake ‘patty’ is crowned by XO sauce-infused dried shrimp and scallopsCCC is definitely something to check out if you want something that’s both insta-worthy and luxurious.

Gimmick or not, it’s your call. Head down to the new Hawkerman Street Kitchen to have a taste of both their classics and their innovative creations for yourself!
