If there was one thing I’ve noticed about Singaporeans, it is that we all love buffets. Well, to all the buffet advocates like myself, Orchard’s Makan@Jen has an exclusive S$68++ 1-for-1 seafood buffet dinner deal! This offer is only available for dinner Mon to Wed and ends on 31 Oct!
If you’re wondering what to eat in the city centre (you shouldn’t as my colleagues Niger and Isabelle have you covered), a buffet dinner is the perfect way to end a day out shopping.
As far as buffets go, Makan@Jen’s selection is vast, and showcases a wide variety of local favourites and western delights. Of course, it wouldn’t be a buffet without a fresh seafood station! Look out for their Baby Crayfish, Tiger Prawns, Snow Crab Leg and many other shellfish selections. Unfortunately, fresh oysters are not on the menu.
If the fresh selection doesn’t satisfy your palette, head to the BBQ station for grilled options. This includes the Salt Rubbed Jumbo River Prawn, Half Shell Scallop with Duo Cheese and Flower Clam with Garlic Herb Butter.
If you need a break from all the shellfish, head to the selection of Western delights. Indulge in the Spiced Roasted Argentinian Angus Beef with Black Pepper Sauce or, for something richer, look out for the Black Truffle & Parmesan Roasted Whole Chicken.
Local favourites include the Asian Egg Fried Rice with Flying Fish Roe and the iconic Singapore Chili Crab & Prawn with Deep Fried Mantou. They also have a Turmeric Marinated Whole Seabass Fillet with Sambal & Archer and many more!
