Happening on 28 Feb from 11.30am to 2.30pm, with last entry at 1.45pm, the block party brings together two things Singaporeans love most: great deals and great eats. Expect free entry and S$2 pizza slices, with five mouthwatering flavours to choose from. To sweeten the deal, alcoholic drinks will be available from S$7, perfect for a relaxed afternoon with friends and neighbours.
Known for its authentic Italian fare, La Pizzaiola serves everything from the classic Margherita (S$19.90) to indulgent options like Gamberi e Calamari (S$26.90) and the signature La Pizzaiola Speciale (S$28.90). Tucked away in a cosy corner just five minutes from Lentor MRT, the Italian restaurant has been described by diners as a vibey, romantic date-night spot.
The restaurant’s story traces back to Chef Loris Massimini’s childhood memories of a warm, welcoming pizzeria in Tuscany. Inspired by a friendly female pizza maker (known in Italian as a pizzaiola), he conceptualized the restaurant to recreate that same warmth and homeliness in Singapore.
More than just a food event, the Block Party is a heartfelt thank-you to the community that has supported the restaurant for a decade. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, it’s a chance to enjoy the simple joys of food and companionship.
