Haku Sushi, located in Great World, is a popular Japanese Omakase restaurant known for its high-quality ingredients and affordability. Its permanent menu offers guests affordable Kansai-style, red-vinegar-seasoned rice from S$68 and up. The restaurant focuses on Osaka-style sushi, presenting a distinct, rich, yet light sushi rice that enhances the flavours of fresh fish.

Haku Sushi is helmed by Chef Yamamoto Yoshiki, who has spent more than 35 years perfecting his craft across countries such as Osaka and Shanghai, even assisting in menu development at the Michelin-recommended Sushi Ginza Onodera. His signature hidden recipe of wine-infused rice is exclusively presented at Haku Sushi.

With the high quality of sushi rice and meat, it is my humble opinion that 5 pieces of sushi will not suffice. After the first round, guests enjoy more savings with each additional round of sushi ordered, with each round featuring at least one premium seasonal sushi, such as Ikura, Uni, Chutoro, and more, topped off with Atsuyaki Tamagoyaki and seasonal soup.
The first round will be priced at S$19 (50% off), the second round at S$18 (55% off), the third round at S$17 (60% off!), and all subsequent rounds will be capped at S$17. For high-quality air-flown ingredients from Japan and Chef Yoshiki’s craftsmanship, it seems that the price point is adequately justified.

Apart from the sushi, additional premium items (from S$9.90) are also going at half price, allowing diners to curate their own dining experience. Choose from overflowing Ikura Kobore, Special Negitoro handroll, and creamy Uni sushi, all cheaper than usual!

There is no doubt that the environment and ambience of a restaurant also play a significant role in drawing and retaining its customers. For the curious and considering (to go down to the restaurant), Haku Sushi’s interior presents a cosy, intimate vibe – the space is softly illuminated with warm lighting, complemented by pale wood furnishings that evoke the understated elegance of a traditional Japanese sushi bar.
High-quality sushi, red-wine-infused rice, and a clean, understated aesthetic – If this piques your interest, perhaps it would be good to give Haku Sushi a visit now, while promotions last.
