I am on a cleaning spree. After zooming my way through robot vacuum cleaners, I discovered Tineco at the COMEX IT Show last week. More accurately, the newly-launched Tineco FLOOR ONE i7 Fold caught my attention at their huge booth.

When I first saw it, the lady doing the demo had the wet-dry vacuum completely horizontal on the floor, with the handle bent 90° so she could hold it as a normal vacuum cleaner. Just look at the photo above — it’s long enough to reach very far under any piece of furniture.

Best of all, it’s just 9.6cm tall when used like this. If you have been ignoring hard-to-reach spaces in your home, here’s the tool that will make it simple to clean them without any extra effort.

The incredible mobility and portability continue when it’s stored. At just 3.5kg, the i7 Fold is light enough to carry about easily. The 180° folding handle means it can be stored upright in spaces just 76cm high! If it were a child, it would still be years before it would need to use an MRT card.
It may be compact and nimble but the i7 Fold packs 22,000kPa of suction in its svelte frame. On hard floors and low-pile carpets as we have in most HDB homes and condos, that power makes easy work of dust, dirt and hair.
Of course, you won’t need that much power everywhere — when the little ones are sleeping or if you clean at night, the quiet 45 dB(A) operating volume in Quiet Mode will come in handy. It will keep going for as long as 50 minutes like that.

However, it’s the wet & dry mopping in a single pass that makes it extra convenient for overworked moms and singles who hate housework. This dual functionality will reduce cleaning time, something we can all appreciate.
Maintenance is also a thing of the past. Firstly, the dirty surface of the spinning brush gets cleaned in every revolution before it contacts the floor again. This means that the same dirt and mopped liquids don’t keep dirtying the floor as you clean.
When you finish, the i7 Fold has an in-built SilentDry self-cleaning system. Just press a command on the stick to begin auto-cleaning the roller and internal pipes. It’s really that easy.

Despite its power and capabilities, the design of the Tineco i7 Fold is incredibly simple. I asked the demo lady to disassemble the unit and it broke up into a grand total of just 5 components. This ingenious streamlined design means fewer things can go wrong, and that repairs are simpler and cheaper in the unlikely event they do.
It was this beautiful simplicity combined with the compact form of the Tineco FLOOR ONE i7 Fold that impressed me most. If you could do with a light, quick and self-maintaining cordless vacuum, the Tineco FLOOR ONE i7 Fold is currently available at a massive launch discount at Tineco’s official stores on Lazada and Shopee.
