Ricardo’s Chop & Jerk at the CapitaGreen building proves you can travel the world without ever leaving Singapore. Located at the Dashi Skypool on level 38 of the CapitaGreen building, Jamaican Chef Ricardo has opened a pop-up. He’s serving traditional Jamaican, Trinidadian, and other flavours of the Caribbean Sea – right here on our shores. This pop-up only lasts until 31 Oct 2026, so don’t miss out.

Some of you might know Chef Ricardo. Before Ricardo’s Chop & Jerk, he spent a few years running Lime House Caribbean. That restaurant was credited as being the first to serve Caribbean cuisine in Singapore. After its closure, he headed Camp Caribbean, which opened on 5 Dec 2024 and closed on 28 Feb 2026.
Clearly, he was still eager to serve Singaporean foodies, as he opened this pop-up with a healthy variety of different dishes from the Caribbean.

You can’t talk Jamaican food without talking about jerk chicken. Their half jerk chicken (S$20) is cooked over a fire right in front of you. Enjoy the night with friends as the aroma of smoky Jamaican spice dances with you. Paired with some sweet fried dumplings and a cooling tropical slaw on the side, you’d wish the plate never emptied.

How about something hearty to keep you warm and cosy at night? That’s where the curried goat (S$23) comes in. The goat is stewed down low and slow, giving you something similar to beef rendang here in Singapore. The meat is said to be buttery and tender from the hours of cooking. Pair it with a soft and fluffy Trinidad dhalphuri or a bowl of bright and tangy jollof rice, and prepare for food coma.
These are just some of the many dishes available for you to try. Explore the Caribbean one dish at a time at Ricardo’s Chop & Jerk.
