Best Halloween events in Singapore - intro pic

Instead of staying at home and watching a scary movie, you can take the opportunity to explore Singapore’s various Halloween events. Without further ado, here are 11 best Halloween events in Singapore for a spooky night out.

How I chose these best Halloween events

These are the 3 main criteria I used to decide which events to recommend:

  • Variety: The activities on this list cater to a range of interests, from kid-friendly activities to more adult-oriented ones.
  • Wide price range: From paid events to free events, there’s something for everyone.
  • Strong Halloween theme: I included events known for their immersive Halloween atmosphere.

I have also grouped them into 3 different categories, so you can find what suits you best.

  • Neighbourhood trick-or-treat
  • Parties
  • Events

This isn’t a ranked best-to-worst events list, but a collection of the most enjoyable activities overall, in no particular order.

1. Neighbourhood Halloween Parties & Trick-or-Treating

Best Halloween events in Singapore - trick or trick bucket

You don’t need to splurge on big-ticket Halloween attractions or events to get into the spooky spirit. Singapore has plenty of neighbourhood Halloween parties closer to home. Community clubs and Resident Networks’ organise Halloween events around our island during the season. Plus, because the events are held around neighbourhoods, most of them are kid-friendly.

You can expect evenings filled with games, crafts and sweet treats at these events. There might also be costume contests, spooky activities and more too. Some events even have haunted mazes, haunted houses and the likes for extra more spooky fun. Use the onePA website to browse community events near you. Do note that some of the events are ticketed, with varying prices, while others have free entry. Do make sure to double-check against the website before heading down to the event, in case it requires a ticket.

2. Woodgrove Estate: Trick-or-treat (31 Oct 2026)

Best Halloween events in Singapore - woodgrove decor

If you want the upbeat atmosphere neighbouring Halloween events give but amplified, try visiting Woodgrove Estate’s free Trick or Treat event on 31 Oct 2026. Started in 2007, the 30 residents of this bustling neighbourhood wanted to introduce Halloween to Singapore. More specifically, the tradition of trick-or-treating and other festivities.

Because of this, the streets of Woodgrove Estate in Woodlands transform overnight with impressive decorations and props. Many people also flock here yearly, dressed up in eye-catching costumes. You can really see the kampong spirit in action as they embrace visitors by welcoming them into their estate and providing treats. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled the whole night, as many houses have decorations that’ll leave your mouth gaping open because of how elaborate and intricate they are. Do note that this is a private residential estate after all, so do remain respectful to the residents and fellow visitors.
