As we move into fully embracing the plant-based movement, so are we also exploring our curiosity about vegan food. For those of us needing a little help with discovering more vegan-friendly options, fret not—introducing abillion app.

According to their site, ‘Founded in Singapore in 2017, abillion is a rapidly growing online community with members and reviews in 114 countries. The abillion app makes it easier for people to find and share experiences about vegan dishes and products anywhere they go. To date, about 10,000 vegan dishes from restaurants around Singapore have been reviewed on the platform.’

abillion (yes, with a small ‘a’) makes searching for vegan-friendly food a breeze, even if they’re found on a menu in a steak restaurant—say whattt. No more hunting down vegan-friendly dishes when you’re eating out, especially since the app allows you to filter your search results according to cuisines, categories, distance, prices, and even ratings.

Apart from food, you can also find vegan products such as hair and skin products, all of which allow you to leave reviews for other fellow vegan foodies. This enables other abillion users to perform a more refined search. The app also donates a dollar to every vegan option you choose, to one of their many partners. This enables funding for education and conservation efforts.

As a teaser of what you can find on abillion, there’s Hvala, Flavours by Saute, Three Buns, and even Kazbar. For more information on what the app offers, head to their Instagram profile.

Date & Time: abillion app is available for download on iOS and Google Play
