With Mother’s Day behind us, it’s time to be grateful and turn our attention to the other important figure in our lives — our dads. With Father’s Day inching closer, it’s the perfect occasion to show our appreciation and gratitude for everything they do.
More often than not, dads don’t expect extravagant presents. What they truly cherish is spending quality time with their children. What better way to do that than to take the most important man in your life out for a special meal? Just like the quote, ‘The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach’, I hope you find the perfect dining spot that both of you can enjoy and make memories.

2. Ministry of Crab

All the way from Sri Lanka, the Ministry of Crab is celebrating Father’s Day with lots of seafood and spices. From mud crabs to freshwater prawns and more, it is a fusion experience combining Sri Lankan ingredients with Japanese cuisine.
To make sure that the seafood is fresh, the crabs are delivered live in small batches 3 times a week from Sri Lanka. The variety of mud crabs vary from 500g to 2kg, and the giant freshwater prawns vary from 150g to 500g.
The menu features iconic dishes such as Kani Tama (S$35++), which is traditionally a Japanese crab omelette that is paired with rice or toast. A standout dish is the Garlic Chilli Prawn (from S$28++ to S$78++, depending on the size). This was hands down a table favourite! This signature dish features giant, sweet Sri Lankan freshwater prawns bathed in a sizzling, highly addictive blend of Italian extra-virgin olive oil, garlic, Sri Lankan chilli flakes, and Japanese soy sauce. It delivers a masterfully balanced, savoury-spicy punch, leaving behind an incredibly rich oil that begs to be mopped up with a side of warm, wood-fired garlic bread.
Black Pepper Dashi Crab (from S$68++ to S$398++, depending on the size), served with Kade Bread, is a fiery dish with different spices. This crowd-favourite features sweet mud crab bathed in a rich, savoury black pepper dashi and elevated by the intense heat of hand-crushed peppercorns.
The Soupless Ramen is an ideal dish for those looking for warm and comforting flavours (warning – spice level is quite high) . The whole experience makes a heart-warming meal with family.

3. The Coach Restaurant

The Coach Restaurant (one I’ve been eyeing whenever I exit from T1) at Jewel Changi Airport is presenting a 1-day special version of their Sunday Prime Rib for Father’s Day.
While the normal meal is made up of a regular cut, diners are offered USDA Prime Striploin from Linz Chicago, which has been aged in-house with beef tallow, together with a mixture of burnt corn husk and Woodford Reserve Bourbon.
Priced at S$68++ per person, the Sunday Prime Rib is served with a choice of 2 sides: creamed spinach, smoked butter mashed potatoes, grilled kale and arugula salad, roasted root vegetables, or a baked russet potato cooked in beef fat and topped with Gruyère and cheddar. The baked russet potato arrives as a silver service-style experience, inviting guests to customise their toppings tableside with accompaniments such as crème fraîche, crispy duck fat, crispy shallots, chilli, and chives — echoing Coach’s playful spirit of individuality and self-expression. For an elevated finish, guests may add a caviar supplement at S$28 (cos’, why not?). Those who order the special version will also receive a complimentary drink, a Coach beer or a Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned.
If you wish to make the day even more enjoyable, 2 specially selected 2-hour free-flow beverage packages are also offered. These drink packages can only be enjoyed on 21 Jun. The first is priced at S$25++ per person and includes drinks such as Coach Cream Ale, People People Pale Ale, classic martinis, and a bourbon iced tea. The higher-tier option at S$40++ expands the selection with wines, signature cocktails, and additional pours. A perfect way to end Father’s Day with family.

5. Asador

For Father’s Day, Asador doesn’t offer a set menu, but we think that’s part of the appeal. For some diners, instead of being guided through a fixed progression of dishes, guests can build their own experience through the à la carte menu. It means a dad who wants something hearty can lean into dry-aged cuts, while others at the table can explore seafood or lighter plates without compromise. The flexibility makes it easier for mixed groups, especially when different generations are involved.
We suggest starting with Anchoas (S$12) – a bite of pure coastal elegance: Spain’s prized Santoña ’00’ Cantabric anchovies, celebrated for their delicate, buttery texture, rest gracefully on a bed of warm, crunchy toast. Then dig into Jamón Ibérico (S$16) – melt-in-your-mouth, hand-sliced 100% acorn-fed ham glistening over crusty, ultra-light crystal bread and vibrant grated tomato, releasing sweet, nutty marbling in every luxurious bite.
For the main event, you can’t go wrong with the signature Cochinillo (S$108++ for quarter or S$198++ for half), a roasted Spanish suckling pig in Segovian style. Crispy skin, juicy meat, a real delight for the palate! The Vaca Vieja (S$17++ for 100g) presents OP beef rib that’s been dry-aged over 45 days — another standout. This premium rib steak is kissed by hot charcoal embers on a custom-built parrilla, resulting in a deeply caramelised, savoury crust that gives way to intensely rich, tender beef with a signature buttery, golden marbling.
Our favourite side dish is the premium Spanish Piquillo Peppers (S$14) which are hand-peeled and slow-roasted over oak wood. They perfectly balance a deep, smouldering char with a lush, velvety sweetness that cuts beautifully through rich meats. You must end off with the Tarta de Queso ‘La Viña’ (S$16), a tribute to the original Basque cheesecake. We were left wanting more…. so we got another!

6. Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Singapore

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is celebrating Father’s Day with a simple idea that consists of signature steakhouse dishes. The special menu runs from 14 Jun to 21 Jun 2026.
Priced at S$178++ per pax, the luxurious meal kicks off with a Short Rib Beef Barley Soup. Simmered for hours to coax out the deep, savoury essence of premium beef, this soul-warming starter features melt-in-your-mouth short rib and tender pearl barley in a beautifully concentrated, robust broth.
For the main dish, you can choose between 100% USDA Prime New York Strip Loin and Lamb Chops. Round out Dad’s special meal with Wolfgang’s classic sides, featuring crowd-favourites like Mashed Potatoes, Creamed Spinach, Grilled Asparagus, or Steak Fries (my fave!). Save room for dessert — the experience wraps up with a comforting, warm slice of Pecan Pie, alongside the option to toast Dad with a seasonal ‘Father Knows Rum’ cocktail ($28++) made from hojicha rum, Antica Formula, Angostura Bitters and orange zest.
You’ll also get to take the memories home with a complimentary family Polaroid photo, printed right at your table. How lovely!

7. Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beers

If Dad’s idea of a perfect Father’s Day involves something indulgent, unapologetically meaty, and best washed down with a cold beer, Black Tap has him covered. Available from 19 to 21 Jun, the Boss Burger is exactly what the name promises — a double bacon cheeseburger stacked high and finished with Black Tap’s signature sauce, delivering the kind of bold, satisfying bite that makes every other burger feel like it wasn’t trying hard enough.
At S$38, it’s a proper treat, and the add-ons make it even better. Pair it with a pint of Brewlander Joy Summer Session IPA for just S$4 more, and you’ve got the kind of combination that needs no further justification. Throw in wings of your choice for an additional S$8, and Dad’s Father’s Day spread is basically sorted.
Black Tap has always done burgers with a certain confidence — big, flavour-forward, and built for people who mean business at the table. The Boss Burger is no exception. It’s hearty, it’s indulgent, and it’s exactly the kind of meal Dad will be talking about long after the last bite.

8. Gupshup

If you want to try Indian cuisine that’s been elevated into a playful dining experience, contemporary Indian restaurant Gupshup has introduced a new weekend menu set, The Great Indian Summer (S$48++ per person), just in time for Father’s Day.
Available every Fri to Sun for 2 seatings — 12pm to 2.30pm and 5pm to 9pm — it allows guests to enjoy an indulgent set meal while regaling their eyes with Gupshup’s beautifully designed decor. There is also a buy 2, get 1 free promotion every weekend, which is a fantastic deal for families celebrating fathers.
The Great Indian Summer menu features a variety of excellent dishes, perfect for sharing. Perennial crowd favourite Pani Poori is on the menu and we couldn’t help but have 2 servings of several paani poori each. I still cannot believe it’s free flow! We also enjoyed the Samosa and Chilli Paneer, but I especially recommend the Chicken Lollypop — it is perfectly marinated and simply delicious.
The menu’s mains selection stars Chicken Nilgiri Curry, Paneer Khurchan, Maah Di Daal and Bombay Biryani, which comes in chicken or vegetarian options. Mains are served with a plate of Naan with options of Plain, Butter or Garlic. Guests can upgrade their meal with free-flow Chilled Beer (S$19++ per person).
For those who have a sweet tooth, worry not, the desserts don’t disappoint either. Guests have 2 options to choose from: Gulab Jamun & Vanilla Ice Cream or Rasmalai. The latter will sate those with traditional palates (which is usually me) but the warm-cold contrast of the former won the day here.

How to choose the right Father’s Day dining experience in Singapore?
If your father enjoys a traditional steakhouse occasion, Lawry’s The Prime Rib and Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Singapore suit those who appreciate a structured multi-course meal centred on premium cuts. For seafood-focused families, Ministry of Crab offers a more interactive feast built around Sri Lankan mud crabs and prawns, while Red House Seafood appeals to those seeking familiar local flavours and sharing-style dishes.
Larger groups may prefer Yardbird’s barbecue platters, Gupshup’s all-you-can-eat Indian spread, or Zorba The Greek Taverna’s oversized kebab concept. If flexibility matters, Asador’s à la carte format allows different tastes at the same table. For a more celebratory splurge, KOMA Singapore and The Coach Restaurant focus on premium ingredients and special occasion dining. The right choice depends on whether the day is centred on sharing, variety, nostalgia, or a more formal meal.
