Are you a morning person? Frankly, I’m not, but just one look at Breakfast Grill‘s loaded breakfast sandwiches has got me climbing out of bed.
Located along East Coast Road, Breakfast Grill is tucked inside Mad Nest and sells a variety of jam-packed sandwiches that has got me drooling. Think garlic grilled cheeses, crispy spam and bacon sandwiches, deep-fried chicken thighs, baked portobello mushrooms and more.
Newly opened in early February 2022, Breakfast Grill’s menu offers nine All Day Sammies. Be sure to try its crowd-favourite: the Cheeses (S$10), a simple but addictive grilled garlic cheese sandwich that is perfect for the ‘gram.
If you prefer hearty breakfasts, go for its Classic Brekkie (S$14), which consists of spiced sausages, bacon onion marmalade, scrambled eggs and American cheddar cheese.
Vegetarians, go for the Magic Mushroom (S$14.50), a no-meat sandwich with baked portobello mushrooms, creamed spinach and crunchy enoki strings.
Fancy having breakfast for lunch instead? Breakfast Grill is open daily from 8am to 4pm, with last order at 3.15pm (or until sold out), so you can try its Hot Chick (S$15.50) for lunch instead.
The packed sandwich includes deep-fried chicken thigh coated in five spice, scrambled eggs, cheesy jalapeno cheetos and house-made garlic aioli.
All its sandwiches use brioche bread that has been freshly baked daily. This adds an extra richness to each bite, as brioche bread is known for having a high amount of butter, milk and eggs.
Breakfast Grill also offers a selection of soups and sides, like its Tomato Soup (S$4) and Chicken and Waffles (S$22).
